ENGINE COMPARTMENT

A combustion engine including the one in your car consists of a wide variety of different car parts. These have all a particular role to play in the combustion process. There are car parts related to the injection, others to the driving. Injection and ignition parts are for example the spark plugs (for a petrol engine), the ht leads and the rotor.

The drive parts located in the engine compartment are for example the timing belt, the drive belts and the tensioner pulley.

In addition there are parts related to the fuel and air management located in the engine compartment. These car parts included the fuel pump or the air flow sensor.

Apart from the car parts that are essential in the combustion process, there are some parts for the suspension of the engine, including the engine mounts for example.
