FILTERING

Your car filters (the oil filter, fuel filter, air filter and pollen filter) are essential car parts. They ensure the engine can work properly without getting damaged by dirt or other particulates. In the fluids your car needs and in the air it takes in there are very small particulates which despite their size can cause irreversible or premature damage to the engine. The oil, air and fuel therefore needs to be cleaned of these particulates by filters.

The pollen filter does not clean air which is injected into the engine but air that will circulate through the cabin. Despite the air not having to flow through the engine, it is important the pollen filter is in good working order. Clean air in the car’s cabin helps avoiding allergic reactions, nausea or drowsiness.
