OIL FILTER

All cars are equipped with different filters. The oilfilter ensures that the oil remains clean of dirt and other particles which could damage your engine. If the oilfilter is not working properly, serious and unreparable damage can be caused.

Change oil filter

The frequency with which your oilfilter needs replacing depends slightly on the type of the engine:

In cars on petrol every 6000 miles
In cars on dieseloil every 9000 miles

It is best to choose filters from quality brands, including Mannfilter or Mecafilter oil filters to avoid damage to the engine.

Please note: if you are replacing your oil filter yourself, please do not throw the old one in a regular bin but take it to a car centre to be destroyed.
