What are
car hoses?
The braking system of a car consists predominantly of a system of pipes and hoses. There are flexible
brake hoses and pipes.
Most
car brake hoses are made of steel as they are used to transfer pressurized brake fluid to the calipers. The pressure is so high that flexible hoses would burst if they were attached to the
wheel brake cylinders.
Right next to the
calipers however, you’ll find flexible hoses to inject the brake fluid into the braking system.
