WHEEL BEARINGS

The axle of a vehicle consist of the wheels, the wheel hubs, the wheel bearings and various nuts, studs and screws.

There are two types of wheel bearings: round or cone-shaped. The wheel bearing is fitted into the wheel hubs. The car’s wheels are fixed to the wheel hubs as well. To fix the wheel securely to the wheel hubs, each wheel has several bores in which the wheel studs are fitted.
