What is there to wiper blades?

There are two different kinds of wiper blades:

- The flat wiper blades or aero wiper blades, which are flat and flexible. These wiper blades do not have a coat-hanger-shaped frame but a tensioned metal strip which ensures the wiper blade fits perfectly to the windscreen. The advantage of this new technology is better vision and reduced noise.

Due to use, a wiper blade becomes worn over time and need to be cleaned regularly. As the windscreen washer liquid does not always suffice, it is recommended to clean the wiper blades separately with a cloth.

Wiper blades ought to be replaced every year depending on signs of wear and tear including squeaking, leaving traces or leaving certain areas uncleaned.
