What is a clutch cable?
The
clutch cable is fixed to the clutch pedal. This clutch part connects the pedal to the levers. When the clutch is disengaged, the
clutch release bearing is pushed against the fingers or diaphragma of the
pressure plates thereby allowing the driver of the vehicle to change gears.
Due to use, the clutch cable can be subjected to corrosion which means it will need to be replaced. At Mister-Auto.co.uk we recommend you change your clutch cable with the rest of your
clutch kit.
