What is the indicator relay?
An
indicator relay is in fact a plug, which is usually located behind the glove compartment. The plug is equipped with a small transformator which regulates the voltage but also determines the flashing frequency of the indicators. The flashing frequency tends to increase when a fault occurs in one of the indicators. The indicators themselves are part of the electric circuit of your car which also includes:

combination switch- the
indicators- the hazard lights
