What is the sump plug?
A
sump plug is in fact a bolt located at the bottom of your "a href="http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/oil-pan_lg592.html">sump pan. Via the sump plug the oil can be drained out of the sump.
Even though
sump plugs are not used intensively when you're driving your car, they are car parts subjected to wear. Every time you change your
engine oil the plug is opened and closed. This can result in wear. Remember to replace your sump plug or
oil drain cap regularly as it can easily cause leakage when not closing properly.
