Car Part Manufacturer
Sachs is originally a German company specialising in bodywork and transmission car parts. They sell both parts for passenger cars as well as for commercial vehicles including large lorries.
Sachs was first created in 1895. Initially Sachs issued ball joints and bicycle hubs. The first plant was sold however to what was to become SKF from Sweden.
Prior to WW II, Sachs was an engine parts manufacturer, but specialised in clutch and bodywork parts afterwards.
