What are
side rods?
A
axial joint, side rod or connection rod is fixed to the front of a car. It is an essential part to your steering system as it helps setting the wheels of your car in motion. The
side rods are fixed directly to the
steering rack, which in turn is attached to the steering wheel. Via the steering knuckle the
connection rods are attached to the wheels. A
connection rod consists of a metal rod ending in a
tie rod end.
