What are the rear view mirrors?
Today all cars are equipped with three
rear view mirrors: two
wing mirrors and one interior mirror. With these three car mirrors the driver is able to look beside and behind his or her vehicle. The right side
wing mirror is compulsory as well as the
rear view mirror inside the car. If there is no interior mirror or it is blocked (as often the case in mini vans), your car needs both wing mirrors. Wing mirrors consist of several parts: - a resistor - the
mirror glass - a temperature sensor - two electric engines for the adjustment of the mirrors - the indicators - an engine to fold the mirrors The adjustment of your
wing mirrors needs to be done well to ensure you are able to see as much as possible beside and behind the car when driving.
